Here’s an interesting look at the Whatcom County Real Estate Market.
I just took a course learning about HAFA Short Sales and it got me curious about these “distressed properties” and how much of the market they made up. Here are some interesting charts showing the relationship of Foreclosures and Short Sales here in Bellingham and Whatcom County.
While some parts of the country more than half the market are “distressed properties,” we are pretty lucky, overall the numbers here are relatively low.
