The City of Bellingham and the Whatcom Museum are once again teaming up to sponsor the “Essence of Bellingham” photography competition.
They are looking for images taken over the last year that capture the “essence” of Bellingham. All entries will be added to a collection documenting Bellingham and the diverse nature of life in our city and county.
“Each year we invite area photographers to share what they believe captures the ‘essence’ of Bellingham,” said Bellingham Mayor Dan Pike in a press release. “This is a chance to show people what you think makes Bellingham such an amazing place.
The winners will receive a certificate and special recognition by the Mayor and Bellingham City Council. Their work will also be displayed on BTV10, the City of Bellingham website, and may appear in other City publications.
Entries will be accepted from Apr 1 – May 2, 2011.
