The Pickford Film Center is located in downtown Bellingham. It is Bellingham’s independent theater, that runs great films year round that you can’t see any where else in town. They run several film festivals throughout the year including the NW Projections Film Festival, The 65 Hour Guerilla Project, a filmmaking competition for high school students, the Children’s Film Festival an annual hands-on creative celebration that includes arts workshops and free screenings for at-risk youth, and the Traveling Pickford Show Outdoor Cinema a summer program of family friendly films in and around the community
The Pickford was founded in 1998 and has become a Bellingham landmark dedicated to independent cinema, community, education, and the celebration of film. They are currently renovating a historical building in downtown Bellingham as their new home. We anxiously await the new Dream Space.
