Village Books is a community-based, locally owned, independent bookstore in the heart of the Historic Fairhaven district of Bellingham. It is a great addition to the community. They have been honored as the 2008 Outstanding Philanthropic Small Business in Washington State.

They are comnstantly bringing in little known as well as world renound authors to talk about their books and they sponosor the Chuckanut Radio Hour, a weekly radio variety show.
