Cordata Home Sales Report November 2014
Cordata is Bellingham’s newest neighborhood, it is part of the Guide Meridian neighborhood. It is north of Bellingham and is bordered by Meridian Street to the east, West Bakerview Road to the south, and extends to the City limits to the north, west and southwest. The Cordata Neighborhood was officially established in 2010 when the boundaries of the Meridian and Guide Meridian/Cordata Neighborhoods were redrawnfa.
The circumstances leading to these changes included the increase in residential development and population, the growth of Whatcom Community College, and of professional commercial, institutional and industrial uses along Cordata Parkway.
Most of the new homes being built in Bellingham are in the Cordata neighborhood.
The number of sales averages around 20 and sales price averages around $250,000, but this year so far the average sales price is up to $269,043.
