Blaine, Washington, is a unique city situated in the most northwesterly corner of Whatcom County’s and the busiest border crossing point between British Columbia, Canada and the State of Washington. Blaine is a little more than a half hour from Vancouver, B.C., and less than two hours from Seattle.

Blaine is home to the Historic Washington Foot Passenger Ferry, “The Plover”, which takes tourists across the bay to the Semiahmoo spit, and the Inn at Semiahmoo.
