Bellingham Resources
Bellingham is a great town. It is situated on Bellingham
Bay at the foot of the awe inspiring site of Mt. Baker. It is well known
for it’s abundance of recreation activities. It has abundant hiking and
biking trials, world class skiing and snowboarding at Mt Baker, sailing,
kayaking and boating galore in and around the Puget Sound with the nearby
San Juan Island.. The park system is unsurpassed with lots of green space
in the large number of parks from Whatcom Falls majestic cascades to Boulevard
and Marine Parks on the bay.
The population estimates are around 70,000 and growing. The popular Fairhaven
historic district is has increasingly become a tourist destination over
the past several years but it remains a charming, quaint village. Western
Washington University adds to the diversity of the town and there outdoor
culture gallery is well worth a visit if you are new to the area. Bellingham
has been getting some great press lately as a great place to live, a great
place to retire, a town with clean air and the accolades go on. Come see
