Whatcom County Real Estate Market Report – October 2014
Residential home sales were up by 20 homes in the county compared to last year and up by 23 from last month. Prices are down 2.7% compared to last year and down $7,014 compared to last month’s price of $301,829.
Inventory is down by 190 homes from last month is still pretty low.
Interest rates are still attractively low still hovering a bit over 4% as the day of this writing.
The days are getting shorter, and with less homes available it is starting to look like a sellers market.
