Good numbers for Whatcom County real estate in November, the numbers are up for both price and number of sales over last year and up in price a bit but down in number of sales from last month. If the pattern of the green line in the chart above keeps repeating we can expect to see the number of sales drop to about 100 over the next few months.
Interest rates are still hovering at record lows and are expected to stay there fora while longer.
Banks are lending money again, if you have good credit and a steady job you can get a loan to buy a home. If you’re buying in the county outside the downtown area, you could possibly even get that home with a zero down payment loan.
