Chef in the Market series begins tomorrow at The Bellingham Farmers Market with demonstrations by local chefs Mataio Gillis and Josh Silverman at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Gillis is chef and co-owner of Ciao Thyme; Silverman is a chef at Nimbus.
This years series focuses on affordable recipes that consist of just a few ingredients that can be purchased at the market, said Caprice Teske, Bellingham Farmers Market director.
Tomorrow is also the day Cascade Cuts opens to the public for a one day fundraiser for Sustainable Connections’ Food & Farming Program!
