There’s a new Thai Restaurant in the Sehome Neighborhood at the Viking Center at 505 32nd St. at Fielding, it’s the center with the Valero gas station and several other restaurants catering to the students at WWU and Sehome HS. The home style cooking of the Thai House on Telegraph Ave has always been one of my favorites, and Their new addition the Thai House express has great food at good price as well.
Bellingham Parks & Recreation and the Eldridge Society for History & Preservation presents the Elizabeth Park concert series for 2013, every Thursday from 6 to 8 pm through the end of August. The concerts are free fun for the whole family. The Boulevard parks concerts are cancelled this year due to construction in the park.

Saturday April 7 is the opening day celebration of the 20th year of the Bellingham Farmer’s Market.
The festivities begin on with a small antique tractor per session down Railroad Avenue at 10 o’clock our new mayor will toss a cabbage to begin the season. Looks like it’s going to be beautiful day and I’m sure there’ll be a lot of people coming out of the woodwork to come to the Farmer’s market. I’m looking forward to seeing friends haven’t seen in a while and seeing what’s new at the market this year. There will be a few new food vendors this year, someone telling process sushi grade seafood and another vendor selling natural dog treats.
Farmers will be on hand with local seeds, plants starts, and you might even see some greenhouse grown produce.
