Saturday is the day to get out to the Deming Logging Show Grounds for the 4th Corner Elites Car Club of Bellingham Summer Fun Run Car Show! This event is a fundraiser for scholarships to the Bellingham Technical College’s automotive program and other charities for kids.

21 August, 2010 – 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Heritage Flight Museum at the Bellingham Airport.
There will be a People’s Choice Car Show – with , the public, voting for their favorite car. Over 100 cars are expected, and up to 5 P-51’s!
The days events will include judging the vehicles, flying displays of vintage aircraft, an exhaust competition, awards presentation, and lots of photo opportunities! There will also be flights conducted throughout the day, some solo and some formation.
Day 105 – 365 Things To Do In Bellingham, WA – Firecracker Rod Run & Everson Nooksack Summer Festival
A few events for the weekend, start with the Firecracker Rod Run at Pioneer Park in Ferndale. Auto enthusiasts will enjoy seeing Classic Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles. Free to public spectators. It’s a weekend event with a spot for camping.
The Everson Nooksack Summer Festival is offering a variety of activities this weekend.
Saturday’s parade down Everson’s Main Street starts at 11 a.m. and there is a contra dance with live music from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Glen Echo Community Club, 7694 Goodwin Road. The softball tournament is Saturday and Sunday at Riverside Park as well as a horseshoe tournament at 3 p.m. Saturday at Nooksack City Park for a $3 entry fee.
Sunday there is a 5K run/walk and a 10K run starting at 9 a.m. at Nooksack City Park. Entry for the fun run is $20 and a food donation, with all proceeds benefiting the Everson and Sumas food banks.
