Happy Summer 2019 in Bellingham

Happy Summer 2019 in Bellingham

Time sure flies by doesn’t it. Hard to believe it’s already the longest day of the year and July 4th . is just around the corner. Flowers are in bloom everywhere and their fragrant smell is in the evening air in many places.

Time to get out and enjoy all that Bellingham has to offer. The parks, the water, the hiking and walking trails, biking, kayaking, sailing, golf, or whatever you’re into. It may be as simple as sitting on the deck and enjoying the beautiful sunsets we’ve been blessed with.

Music abounds with Downtown Sounds, The Bellingham Festival of Music, Concerts in the Park, The Elizabeth Park Concerts.

Then there are the upcoming annual Festivals like The Mt Baker Rythm and Blues Festival, Subdued Stringband Festival, Bellingham Beer and Music Festival, Summer Meltdown Festival. And let’s not forget the Sunnyland Stomp.

There are lots of other events in Whatcom County and nearby Skagit County, and the ever-popular nearby Vancouver Folk Festival.
