That’s very basic and it’ll be your first step. They will ask you a bunch of questions about your income and your expenses. They might want to see some bank statements and some pay stubs. There maybe some other things they want to know as well, like what kind of bills you have. This will all help them determine how much you can afford to buy. Once you know that, you can start shopping with a bit of confidence in the price of the home you can afford. You won’t be disappointed falling in love with a home only to find out it’s not in your price range.
