Fire up your imagination at the beach as Birch Bay transforms into a series of sand castles and sand sculptures. Or come out and see the sea life, castles, cars, dragons, people, shipwreck and more. Participant will be using sand, water and any other natural materials found at the beach to construct their sculptures. This contest is open to individuals, teams, and families. There is no cost to participate and it .
If you want to see a circus, Circus Gatti will be at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds in Lyndenat 2pm and 7pm Friday and Saturday sponsored by the Bellingham Police Association.
Saturday at 12 noon Hands Across the Sand is coming to a beach near you to “for joining hands on June 26. Together we will draw a line in the sand and embrace a clean energy future.” There will be an event at Boulevard Park and Larrabee State Park
