Mark your calendar for the next 10 Thursdays, for the Elizabeth Park Concert Series from 6 – 8 p.m.The Evolution Trio starts off the series this week with “Middle Eastern and Afro-Cuban rhythms with Spanish and Latin-flavored acoustic guitar and post-modern hard rock bass” The band is made up of musicians David Weiss (guitar, vocals), Nathan Matson (percussion, vocals), and Chris Powell (bass, vocals).
Food is available from local vendors in the park, picnicker’s are welcome, bring lawn chairs or blankets. The concerts are sponsored by the Eldridge Society for History and Preservation.
