History comes to life this weekend in Ferndale at the 11th annual Civil War Re-enactment the Battle of Hovander Farm. Experience a weekend of living History and get a closer look at America’s Civil War. There will be Infantry, cavalry,and Artillery demonstrations as well as Medical demonstrations and a fashion show describing the dress of the period. You can even tour the camps to see how soliders lived.
The men and women who started these reenactmentswere people who met soldiers who fought in the Civil War. They wanted future generations not to forget what they went through and what the Civil War meant to our nation.
