Bellingham has just made it to yet another “best of” list.
National publications have praised Bellingham for being green, for being one of the best small places to start a business or retire, for being the best paddling town.
And now National Geographic Adventure has Bellingham on it’s list of 50 best places to live & play. The magazine didn’t rank the cities, they just picked the top 50.
National Geographic Adventure looked for cities with an ideal mix of terrain, activity and opportunity.
Viewing snow-capped Mt Baker from your kayak in Bellingham Bay can surely be just an awesome sight.
Canoeists and kayakers have access to Lake Whatcom as well as the stunning Bellingham Bay.
The article also praises our city for setting aside 15 percent of the cityfor parks, and it close proximity to Mt Baker’s bountiful powder.
We sure are lucky to be living in this beautiful piece of paradise.
